A developer purchased a 9.73-acre site in Queen Creek, Ariz., that will be converted into an RV, boat and self-storage facility. The land located near Rittenhouse and Germann roads was purchased for $4.35 million and is ready for immediate construction.
“While many developers have delayed new projects, this site stands to benefit from strong demand for institutional-quality RV/boat and self-storage facilities, particularly in the growing community of Cortina, a master-planned development by Fulton Homes,” said NAI Horizon Executive Managing Director Denise Nunez in a press release.
The site features 149,115 net rentable square feet (NRSF) and will house 595 total units of self-storage, RV and boat parking options including:
- 71 drive-up units,
- 214 units that are climate-controlled,
- 49 RV parking spaces that are fully enclosed,
- 206 RV parking spaces that are covered, and
- 55 open parking spaces.
