Campbell’s impressive career includes owning and investing in multiple self-storage facilities across the country. His firsthand experience as a facility owner and investor gives him a unique perspective on the challenges faced by traditional storage and RV/boat storage operators. His journey began with BETCO Self Storage, a major storage building manufacturer, where he rose from drafter/estimator to Executive Vice President of Operations. He later founded the self-storage lending division at Live Oak Bank, the largest SBA lender in the United States, and served as CEO and partner at Copper Storage Management, a third-party management company focused on automated facility operations.
After a brief retirement earlier this year, Campbell felt compelled and passionate to return to the industry, this time focusing on providing specialized insurance solutions. “Joining Johnson Insurance Services feels like coming home,” Campbell said. “The agency is based in my hometown of Mocksville, N.C., where I have many longstanding relationships.
