Carefree Covered RV Storage is starting construction on a new facility in Maricopa, a growing community south of Phoenix.
The project will begin soon and is expected to be finished sometime in late 2025. This will be the eighth location nationally and sixth in the Valley for Carefree Covered RV Storage, and the facility will be located at 45760 W. Estrella Parkway on 11 acres of the Estrella Gin Business Park.
There are 512 spaces planned to be on offer at the new storage space, and according to a press release put out by Carefree, there will be quality covered parking, wash bays, an RV dump station, state-of-the-art security and a customer welcome center on site.
A variety of development partners are assisting with this project, including Baldwin Development Group, Done Deal Iron Works, ABM Development Services, Pender Engineering and Shane Cook of Estrella Gin Business Park.
“There is a serious unmet demand for covered storage in the city of Maricopa,” said Barry Raber, president of Business Property Trust, the parent company of Carefree. “With hundreds of new homes planned or under construction and no covered RV storage offerings within 15 miles, we cannot wait to bring our brand of high-quality RV storage to the area.”
